Biography: Kayla Warren joined the Department of Social Work in February 2019 after two years as the Lead Program Assistant at The Children’s Playhouse, a non-profit Children’s Museum, in Boone, NC. In her current role as Program Specialist, Kayla coordinates several specialized projects including School Social Work Licensure, the Child Welfare Education Collaborative, and the SBIRT Program (Screening, Brief Intervention, Referral to Treatment). Kayla also assists with field education, program evaluation, website management, and public relations for the department. She also teaches in the department as an adjunct instructor.
