Dr. Leah Hamilton Among BCHS Faculty Awarded GRAM Funding

Congratulations to the BCHS faculty members who have been awarded GRAM funding for 2022-2024. The GRAM award provides $14,000 in funding for each of two years (total $28,000) for these faculty members to use to hire a dedicated graduate assistant for 20 hours per week for two years. This is in addition to any other assistantship funding the program may receive. The recipients are:

  • Alan Needle, Exercise Science - Graduate Research Award on Neuromodulatory Treatments for the Treatment of Anterior Cruciate Ligament Injury

  • Leah Hamilton, Social Work - Georgia Resilience and Opportunity Fund: Mixed Methods Evaluation

  • Jennifer Howard and Ashley Marshall, Athletic Training - Mental Health Need, Awareness and Use of Resources and Services in Collegiate Athletics

  • Brooke Towner, Health, PE and Coaching - Influence of Outdoor Physical Activity during School on Teacher and Student Perceptions
