Dr. Peter Fawson (Social Work) and Dr. Jack Kwong's (Philosophy and Religion) forthcoming article, Practitioner Wisdom: A Conceptual Approach, has been accepted for publication in the British Journal of Social Work, one of the leading journals in the field. They propose a new theory called Practitioner Wisdom, which asserts that the proper locus of wisdom is the social practitioner and that practitioners are wise to the extent they acquire a character that reflects the relevant social work virtues and values.
