Biography: Lauren Renkert has taught undergraduate and graduate courses, primarily related to social work practice. She has extensive clinical practice experience working with children, adults, and families in public and private agencies.  Dr. Renkert has provided clinical supervision and consultation for many professionals and students in various social service agencies. She served as Department Chair from 2012-2022.

Current and past projects include the NC Methamphetamine Initiative/ASU Partnership for Treatment Program Development and Evaluation and work with ASU's Institute for Health and Human Services to promote interagency and interdisciplinary clinical services for children, adults, and families in the region. Dr. Renkert has also been involved in the development and implementation of the Watauga High School Assessment, Support, and Counseling (ASC) Center and ASU's Social Work Care Collaborative (SWCC).
